Every year St. Joseph’s service organise a Life Lanterns event. This is a special event for bereaved children and their families, to make lanterns and remember loved ones.

This year because of restrictions we are unable to bring families together in person for Life Lanterns. But we still want you to be a part of this important ceremony which we will be showing online via Zoom.

If you would like to be part of this special event we ask you to make a lantern at home with our special lantern making kit. Simply email b.lee@stjh.org.uk and you will be sent a kit. When it’s ready you can send it back to us in a freepost envelope which will arrive with the kit.

You can then join us via Zoom on 10th December at 5pm to watch the lanterns being floated on the pond. We hope this way you will still be able to share something special with others who have lost someone.

The event will be suitable for any age from 0-17. Children and young people must be accompanied online by an adult.
