Caring for children and young people’s mental health

We support children, young people and their families when they have difficulties with their emotional wellbeing, relationships, behaviour or mental health.

We help with all sorts of issues, from common worries to more severe or long-term difficulties. We also support children, young people and their families with disabilities and additional needs like autism.

As  partnership of specialist NHS services and voluntary organisations, we can make sure you and your family get the support you need.

How we help

Children

We’ll spend a bit of time getting to know each other and work out how to make things feel better again. We might play games or draw pictures to help you tell us what’s important for you or what’s bothering you..

Young people

We can help you with lots of things from worry, stress and feeling down to low confidence and unhelpful behaviours. We can also help with you straighten out things that might be bothering you around school, work or family.

Parents and carers

We help families to recognise and build on their own strengths as we work together. We also offer workshops, drop-ins and other support for all local parents and carers, regardless of whether their child is using our services.
